Samsung Mobile South Africa launched the application "chat client" itself is available for various Samsung handsets. 

Applications chat client called Ch@t was originally to be available as a java application that will run on a variety of compatibleSamsung phones. Ch@t be downloaded for free via WAP or Samsung Apps. This application will also be available for all the smartphone devices made by Samsung,especially those that run platform bada.

Ch@t offers users the chance to "air-ria chat" with minimal cost or even free. 

USP(Unique Selling Point)  of application Ch@t compared to other mobile messenger services is that users will be rewarded with airtime when using this service with a promise of loyalty-based incentives that will be available in the near future. Ch@t users will also be able to back up their contacts through this service.
