The above picture shows how Samsung is releasing their products . Every time they launch a new product in Samsung wave series It has a new firmware upgrade in it , like Samsung Wave II which is having Bada 1.2 in it. In 1H of 2011 they will be launching Bada 2.0 in a new Phone in Samsung Wave Series.
I recently asked a Samsung Official about the Bada 1.2 Update. He told me that they are planning to launch Bada 1.2 in January as a New Year's gift only for the European Market and the Middle East and Asian Countries will be getting the update after 2 months of its release in Europe,that is in Mid- March or April.

- Html5 Browsing which is the latest version of Html in Phone Browsing.
- Better Flash Support for a better Browsing experience.
- "Smart Homescreen" with the UI personalization options for the user.
- Animation Effects like Live Wallpapers
- Layout Management for changing the way the menu or file manager looks .(i.e user can change it as in Windows 7 we can change the view Exta large ,Details etc...).
- Use of Open AL(cross-platform 3D audio API) programing for Better audio in gaming and audio related apps.
-Standard programming language C/C++ used for programming of applications.
-3rd Party SNS integration,Speech Recognition,NFC(near field communication).
-Better Multitasking features.
-For app sellers their will be ads in their applications so that they can earn revenue through that,
this will reduce the cost of the Applications in the App store.
