Today, Samsung and U.S. Cellular together launched the Samsung SCH-U440, also known as Samsung Gloss (not Gross, although it looks like) in the US. The Gross phone is a compact flip style phone equipped with a full QWERTY keyboard.
The Gloss phone is available in pink and charcoal color. Features and specifications wise, it doesn�t have any new fancy feature that would excite you, however, this phone has all the basic features and some multimedia features of a regular cell phone in the market. It has 1.3-megapixel digital camera, MP3 music player, Stereo Bluetooth, and a 2.2-inch Landscape LCD screen, a microSD memory expansions slot that supports up to 16GB.
�Customers are looking for more out of their cell phones every day,� said Alan D. Ferber, Chief Marketing Officer at U.S. Cellular. �The Samsung Gloss offers a full qwerty keyboard for easy texting as well as a built in camera and music player to make this phone a unique all-in-one device.
