When word got out that the owner of Crystal's BBQ agreed to host a meeting of groups opposing the anti-immigrant ordinance, the Hazleton restaurant lost nearly all of its predominantly white patronage. But in a fortunate twist of fate, within a year a new local Latino clientele began frequenting the restaurant and according to the owner, made Cryrstal's more than twice as profitable as before.
