Calusa Nature Center & Planetarium to feature “The Rocky Horror Picture Showâ€
Madness is taking its toll this summer at Calusa Nature Center & Planetarium. On Saturday, June 11, and Saturday, July 2, CNCP’s planetarium theatre will be kicking off the weekend at the stroke of midnight with a “step to left and a jump to the right†as it shows “The Rocky Horror Picture Show.†Two more viewings will take place later Saturday evening at 8 p.m. and 11p.m. with The Velvet Darkness acting out all your favorite scenes with Magenta, Brad, Rocky and all the characters from the film.
Costumes, props and insanity are encouraged. Prop bags will be available for purchase before each show.
So pull on your fishnets and get ready for CNCP and The Velvet Darkness to take you on a strange journey on Saturday, June 11, and Saturday, July 2.
Tickets are $ 8 dollars in advance for non-members and $ 5 for members, $ 10 at the door. This film is rated R â€" please have your photo IDs ready and no one under the age of 17 will be admitted without a parent or guardian present.
